Gretel drew her head back,letting out a whimper as she turned around,walking away without another word.

[Faye]

I felt bad for snapping at Gretel, for she was only trying to be nice. But I had so many confusing feelings... Apollo, I thought I liked him a lot and he felt the same. But now he hasn't even said a word to me since he attacked me. And Cher and the other girls seemed quite nice. But Diablos had a hidden agenda.. or just something else going on that I couldn't identify.

A few moments later,Apollo walked out of the cave,followed by Diablos who seemed rather angry. They walked a little further away from hearing,but were in view. Diablos seemed to bark at Apollo with extreme anger,Apollo's ears clinging to his head as he bowed a bit. It sounded like a rather fierce fight,lasting over six minutes until Diablos walked inside,letting Apollo freeze out there.

[Faye]

My ears flicked forward as a heated argument from the two brutes caught my attention. I heard bits and parts of rude words but nothing more. I rose to my paws, wincing once I did. Apollo looked rather sad and forlorn all alone over there. I padded slowly over to him and sat beside him.. "What happened?" I asked in a small and concerned voice.

Apollo met her gaze,then quickly looked away. "Father wasn't so proud of me attacking you.. He is very stern. So.. He made me sleep outside tonight and tomorrow,to let me think about what I did." he sighed.

[Faye]

"Oh.. " I said.. a bit surprised. But then I settled myself down on my belly into the dirt. I looked up at him and smiled lightly, I wouldn't mind sleeping outside if I was with him, hell I did normally.

Apollo smiled back,his heart warming up to her again. He laid down beside her,his head resting over her neck.

[Faye]

I gave a light and high pitched yawn before resting my head on my paws. I felt a unique warmth beside him.. one that I hadn't felt before.

Apollo took gentle breaths,letting the night pass on. It soon became morning,the sun shining high as it actually snowed last night. The two were covered in it,but they're body heat seemed to have melted somewhat of it,while leaving them soaked.

[Faye]

I woke up feeling wet and cold.. yet sweaty at the same time. I moaned softly as I stretched my tired body. I licked his muzzle softly as to wake him before I rose to my paws and yawned. I nudged Apollo again..the others weren't up yet. "Why do you let that asshole boss you around like that?" I asked him..

Apollo awoke slowly,stretching out as he let out a silent yawn. His eyes fluttered open only to meet hers. "Oh.. I dunno."

[Faye]

"Is he really your father?" I asked him, my eye lashes fluttering slightly, since they really held no resembalence to each other. I sighed.. why couldn't he give me an honest anwer instead of."Oh I dunno."

Apollo nodded. "Of course!" he said,smiling at her.

[Faye]

I nodded slightly, but I didn't believe it. I was an outsider looking in and I didn't understand this pack completely. "So.. what do you guys do on a typical pack day?" I asked him, shaking the moisture and dirt from my fur.

Apollo started to think. "Well,first in the morning we go hunting. Second we eat,and then father scent marks. And last of all,is playtime."

[Faye]

"Oh.. okay."And then I realized why I hadn't missed pack life all that much. I walked away from him over to the river, I took a few laps with my tounge before I turned back to Apollo wearing a faint smile. What could we do until the others awoke?

Apollo got up,his head facing the den as Diablos walked out along with Hanztel and Gretel at they're sides. Hanztel was limping,her stomach slightly expanded but,Gretel's wasn't. Cher followed behind Hanztel as she smiled. "Hopefully a miscarriage,it's the best we can say." Apollo rushed up to the gang,barking playfully as Gretel leaped on him,playing.

[Faye]

I wagged my tail and bobbed my head in greeting to the others, but I eyed Diablos with special interest. Would he be angry that I had slept with Apollo last night? I pinned my ears against my skull at Cher's remark.. how could she wish that upon living things? I shrugged it off moments later though.

Diablos padded ahead,the pack following behind silently as they went in search for some new prey. Gretel and Apollo rolled about,playing about.

[Faye]

I jogged behind the pack, laughing silently to myself as the two siblings romped and played. My nose quivered smelling the faint scent of deer in the long distance. My ears flicked back in fourth as I caught flicks of the sounds it made as it crashed almost noiselessly through the woods. I paused for a long moment trying to gather more of these hints from nature.

Diablos lifted his head high,sniffing about. He caught scent of a full grown elk,quickly padding off as Cher barked to Apollo and Gretel who rushed after them. Hanztel fell slightly behind,her leg in the air as she limps and limps.

[Faye]

I came up behind Hantzel. "You should just rest.. there is no reason to even try to hunt right now. Your going to hurt yourself more.." I chided her in a motherly voice, that I was even surprised came out of my mouth. I sighed softly as it seemed I was the only one who had scented the deer and now it would escape seeming no one else cared to notice. I walked in front of Hantzel blocking her way. "Just stay here.." I pleaded softly, she would end up damaging that leg permanantly if she didn't ease off of it.

Hanztel looked at Jezi,lowering her head as she laid down. "Oh alright.. Just save some meat for me!" she grumbled,hating to stay out of the battle. Apollo let out a howl,seeming as loud calls from deer were covering over his voice. "Nevermind.. Just do save some meat!" she smiled.

[Faye]

"Even maybe try to make it back to the den?"I suggested. I nodded at her request and raced off, dutifully tracking the rest of the pack. Soon they were within sights and so was the large buck.

Hanztel sighed,getting up and limping back towards the den. "Fine.."

Apollo and Diablos were already on the elk,trying to drag it down as Cher was on it's back and Gretel was running along the side,barking.
