While everyone else was celebrating, Harvy was standing off by himself. He was shaking with fear, feeling very vunrable. "Mommy," he called weakly.

Diablo listened to Harvy. His eyes widened. Did a foal just watch all this murder? All this destruction? Caused by pegasus's yet! This would go on all they're reputations.

Harvy took no notice of the pegasuses as he wandered around. "Mommy," he called again, tears coming to his eyes. The herd was gone. They ran run off. Bodies of both man and horse laid scattered across the ground. Harvy knew that a few of the men had escaped with their prizes. He sniffed one of the bodies of a foal that had fallen and was tramped to death by the stampeding herd.

Diablo rose to his feet,his eyes feeling sorry for Harvy. He cantered toward the young foal,standing in front of him as he to sniffed the dead foal. "Harvy.." he said softly,feeling sympathy. "I know how you feel.." he mumbled,looking away.

Harvy looked up at Dee-Dee before he buried his face in his legs, since that was all he could reach. "They took my Mommy. They took her," he sobbed.

Shadow and Angel came up to Diablo's side. Angel kneeled down beside the foal and stroked his fuzzy mane.

Diablo started to cry once again. His mother was almost the same.. being taken away. He let his head rest along the foal's side as he groomed Harvy's coat steadily. "Shh.. Don't think about it.. I know it might sound wrong but,it will help a lot.." he mumbled under his grooming.

"I want my Mommy," he whimpered. "Why did they take her Dee-Dee?"

Angel wrapped her arms around the foal and pressed a kiss on his neck. "Sshhhh, I'll be alright Baby, everything is going to be alright," she cooed.

(xD you should see his bad days. He would go furious if anyone mentioned his mom in vein,to the point of actually tackling therm o.o)

Diablo shushed the foal to,rubbing his head up and down the foals side. "Humans are cruel creatures.. Most of them. They capture horses and use them for pleasure.. Your mother would be rather lucky to get one that I met." he tried to assure the foal but,made it sound even worse.

Diablo paused for a moment. If she was butchered.. He could show Harvy where she was but,being captured.. he had no clue. He wanted to tell Harvy that he could but,instead he bowed his head. "I promise.. Someday I will get her back."

Harvy buried his face in Dee-Dee's legs and sobbed. "I'm scared, I don't know how to survive on my own."

Shadow stepped forward and nuzzled the foal. "You won't have to, you can stay with us," she offered.

Diablo widened his eyes,listening to Shadow. How could he listen to Harvy's constant complaining! Foals were hard to care for,remembering his time as a young colt. "Uh.." he mumbled.

Diablo sighed,listening. He didn't protest,seeing as how little Harvy is. He knew the foal couldn't defend himself,and not to mention how annoying he might be. No herd would accept him without a right mind! Or so he thought.

Harvy smiled weakly and nuzzled the mare. "What is your name?" he asked her.

Shadow nuzzled him back. "My name is Shadow," she said and nibbled on his mane affectionutely.

Angel looked over at Diablo. "Um, where exactly are we going?" she asked. "We can't exactly stay with the herd anymore...."

Diablo smiled softly,watching this. He turned around and looked about the land. "Hmm.." he thought. He looked over the landscape. Sure,there was some horses sprawled about including men but,it was still lush and safe. "We shall stay here,until.." he looked at Shadow,hoping that gave a hint.

Diablo sighed,looking at her and the foal before walking away. Choco stood not to far,grazing. He motioned Diablo close to him,having a serious look on his face. This troubled Diablo. Choco was never serious! He walked nervously toward Choco and lowered his head. "Yes?" He asked Choco.

Choco sighed,looking at Diablo as he started to whisper to him. "Did you know,the truth about your mother?" He asked. His voice was deep and showed sadness.

Diablo shook his head,curious. "What do you mean? My mom died shortly after birth!"

Choco shook his head. "No.." he frowned. "Before you could start to remember,your mom was sent to war against one of our greatest foes.." he mumbled. Diablo was wondering why he was telling him this now. Why now? Why out of all the times,why now?! Choco continued, "She wasn't killed but.. She was badly injured. Her wings.. They were cut off." He mumbled,looking away. Diablo's eyes widened. His mother is alive!! His face brightened but,then it dimmed. Why did his mother not stay then? His face obviously showed his question as Choco said "She didn't want to tell you why.. She's a horse now,not a pegasus. She had her wing bones token out of her instead of baring the little stubs she used to have. We released her around her and.." he looked at Diablo. "You should ask the foal if she was in this herd.." Diablo's eyes widened.
