Shadow stepped in between them. "Well then, shall we part ways? Diablo and I have a very important mission to complete," she stated before she trotted off a little ways before turning to wait for Diablo.

(Lol, she does not like Choco at all. )

Diablo was a bit surprised by her reaction,even Choco blinked in amazement. Diablo whispered to Choco after Shadow was far away "Sorry.." and then quickly raced after her.

Choco smirked. "It's fine,mares!" he whinned.

[Stormsong]

Shadow kept up her pace until she was well away from Choco. She stopped aburptly and turned to him. "What should we do now?" she asked.

Diablo looked toward the herd,his eyes narrow as he then thinks. "Lets ask the herd down there which way to go,as I can't tell which way is which. Plus we could eat some of the grass and the apple trees house some delicious apples!" he said cheerfully at the end,smiling.

[Stormsong]

(Hang on a sec, I'm going to go eat dinner then I'll post a real reply when I get done, okay?)

Shadow looked down at the ground nervously. "Um, Diablo?"

(Welcome back =P)

Diablo looked over to her. "Yes?"

[Stormsong]

"We are black pegasuses, remember? Most creatures don't like black pegasuses," she inquired.

[ZeldaWolfy]

Diablo snorted,poking the bag around her neck. "We will change that,but for now,we must forget color." he said,quickly gathering his feet as he cantered toward the herd. He could easily point out the leaders,a skinny gray dappled stallion with cascading mane and tail along with his strong build.

[Stormsong]

Shadow followed along reluctantly behind him. She watched as the stallion of the herd approached them. She also took notice of how all the mares called their foals back to their side.

Diablo halted to a stop as did the lead stallion. His wings expanded to show his true height,taller and more powerful then the lead stallion. He looked to be a great threat,baring his teeth at the stallion as it surprisingly backed down but,stood where it was. "What do you need,fiend?" the stallion asked with a great disgust in his voice. Diablo snorted. "To know which way is South."

[Stormsong]

Shadow pinned her ears nervously and trotted up beside Diablo. "I thought we were going North?" she whispered into his ear.

[ZeldaWolfy]

(Better?)

Diablo looked at Shadow as he whispered back. "So they don't know where we're going." he said. The lead stallion snorted and then looked around. "No where." he said. Diablo snorted back,his wings going up slowly as he stomped his hoof. "You know which way it is,and you know how easily I can hurt you." he said,his voice violent for the first time.

[Stormsong]

(Ooooo! He's pretty! )

Shadow shrunk away from Diablo at his tone. Why was he talking to him like this? she wondered. The mares and foals were watching them curiously.

The stallion snorted once more,looking down as he thought about his herd's safety from such an attack. Just then a chestnut mare spoke up. "That way." she pointed her muzzle towards south,Diablo looking as he then fixed his eyes on the mare. "You sure?" he asked,his tone deep. The mare nodded,the stallion giving the mare a deadly look as she lowered her head. Diablo got what he wanted,walking through the herd with his heavy body and tall stature.

[Stormsong]

Shadow hesitated before she trotted along behind him, keeping her head low. "Was that really nessessary?" she murmered to him.

[ZeldaWolfy]

Diablo nodded to Shadow,whispering to her. "Yes,it was. They would tell me nothing,as I'm a demon to them. They see me as power,brute force. Show them a fear,and they will strike it." he explained.

[Stormsong]

Shadow eyed the herd wearily. "But I thought our whole purpose was to try and not be threatening," she continued.

[ZeldaWolfy]

Diablo sighed,walking toward the North as he looked at Shadow. "That is true,but,being nice will not always get you out of certain situations." he smiled softly,hoping that ended the conversation.

[Stormsong]

(Lol, this story is almost as long as the first 10 chapters of my novel )

Shadow sighed and followed him in silence for a few minutes. "Diablo, what are we going to eat?" she asked when her stomach growled in protest.

Diablo chuckled,looking around as he walked to a apple tree. He wasn't hungry at all,he had enough 'storage' in his stomach anyway. He gracefully leaped up,looking as though he was flying and took about two apples in his mouth and landed with a loud thump. "These." he offered the apples to Shadow.

[Stormsong]

Shadow smiled shyly at him before she gingerly took one of the apples and munched on it. "Thank you," she said politely.

Diablo put down the other apple,smiled as he bowed his head. "No problem!"

Shadow finished the apples quickly and noticed that Diablo wasn't eating. "Aren't you hungry she asked?"
