Clarice followed after him. "But what does she have to offer that I don't?" she asked her tone starting to change.

Diablo stopped,his head now looking up at the sky as he tilted it to Clarice. "She has a heart,I can tell you don't."

[Stormsong]

"That's it!" Clarice leapt into the air and landed in front of Diablo. She let out a terrible banshee scream. The feathers fells from her wings leaving only the dragon like wings. Fangs grew in place of her herbivore teeth and her eyes turned blood red. Her body shriveled into a small human-like form and the lovely mane fell from her head. She leapt at Diablo. "Come here my prey!"

Diablo's eyes widened,watching the transformation. As she leapt at him he scurried to dodge,a cloud of dust flaring in the wind as he bolted. "Dam!" He cursed under his breath as he wish he could use his wings.

[Stormsong]

Clarice sreeched when she missed her target. Seeing his weakness, she leapt at his injured wing.

Diablo kept running on,feeling his wing catching something. He turned his head to see clarice clinged onto it. He let out a whine for help that echoed,low frequency so only animals could hear it. He started to buck,flapping his wings as he raised in the air slightly.

[Stormsong]

Clarice hissed and dug her claws in deeper. "Give up pegasus!" she urged.

Shadow's ears twitched at a distant sound, arosing her from her sleep. She yawned and stood up to stretch her wings before looking around for Diablo. "Why is he still not back yet? We have to go soon," she wondered aloud.

Diablo let out one more loud whine,this time anything could hear it. His eyes focused on the creature as he then took a chance and grabbed Clarice's hand with his bare teeth,cutting deep into both his wing and her hand. "Never!"

[Stormsong]

Shadow scrunched her nose up in disgust. She could smell heat scent followed by a faint scent of.....demon? Not just any demon either, it was the scent of a suckubust. She pawed the ground nervously. Where was Diablo?

Clarice howled in pain and sank her fangs into Diablo's nose to see if he would let go of his grip on her head.

Diablo acted like he felt nothing,only being calm as he lifted his front off and then leaped forward,prying Clarice off if his wing and stomping on her leg before charging off,letting out cries for help. "Please hear me!" He begged for anyone to answer.

[Stormsong]

Clarice flapped her wings and flew after him, letting out another banshee scream.

Shadow pricked her ears at the distant cries for help. "Diablo?" she turned and ran into the barn. "Serena!" she cried making the horses go crazy.

Serena quickly rushed out of a stall and shut it behind her. "What are you doing!?" she snapped.

"I need you to get on my back and bring the bow and arrows," Shadow ordered.

"Why?" she gave Shadow a confused look.

"Just do it!"

Serena quicklygrabbed her bow and arrows and swung her leg over Shadow's back. As soon as the elf was settled, Shadow took off at top speed into the forest.

Diablo was in mid air,barely flying and damaging himself even more. He flew forward,crashing into high trees and then spiraling down as he let out a hurt whine. He could remember,one thing that he was taught in the army,camofluage. He was able to shake Clarice off,and run not far away. He hid in the shadows,his good wing cloaked him from sight. "I can only do this...for a short time." He thought as his legs shook,

[Stormsong]

(You do realize that it's daytime right?)

Shadow and Serena glided through the trees. The demon scent was growing stronger in Shadow's nose and the confused barely clung on to her mane. When the demon was in sight, Shadow let out an enraged neigh and reared flapping her wings threateningly, her ears were back and her teeth were barred.

Serena let out a cry in surprise as she tumbled from the pegasus's back and onto the hard forest floor. The wind was knocked out of her and she lay on the ground gasping for air.

(....well,I just screwed Diablo xD he's in the shadows though.)

Diablo watched,he could barely stand just watching. He limped to the elf,blood gushing from his wing as his coat shined from sweat. He nuzzled the elf,breathing hard into the elf's face. "Breathe!" He thought,his own wind was knocked out if him from the fall.

[Stormsong]

"Ah! So the female bares the stone," the suckubust hissed. "It will do you no good, you will still be the most hated amoungst your own kind."

Shadow grabbed the demon by her wing and shook her violently. "How dare you rape my best frined!" she snapped. She galloped a few paces away, kicking the demon as she did so.

Serena reached out with her hand and held onto Diablo's mane. Tears were pouring down her face as she tried desperately to breathe in. 'Stupid pegasus!' she thought to herself and gasped. She sucked in large, rapid breaths of air and rolled over to look at Diablo.

Diablo's eyes were weak,and cried for help. He lifted his head to help the elf up,turning to watch Shadow fight the demon. He couldn't help but want to attack with her.

[Stormsong]

Serena kept her arm around Diablo's neck and gasped for air. "Thank you," she breathed.

Shadow dropped her hooves down on the demons wings. "Die demon!" she cried as she heard the sickening snap of the demons wings.

Diablo watched,his eyes full with interest as he whispers. "Your welcome."

[Stormsong]

The suckubust screeched adn tried to crawl away from the fuming female pegasus. Shadow would let her escape, she delivered the final blow to the demon's head. It sqwarmed in the ground for a minute before it laid still. Shadow turned and looked at her friend and the elf her eyes filled with tears and she turned away. Her body quivered with the force of her sobs.

Diablo couldn't believe it,Shadow actually killed a demon! He was proud but yet,sad,seeing his friend's tears as he walked to her and nuzzled her. He could barely breathe,the blood loss causing him to faint almost instantly as his heavy body crushed the ground.

[Stormsong]

"Diablo!" Shadow screamed. She nosed her friends bloody body. "Don't die!" she sobbed and kneeled down in front of him.

[ZeldaWolfy]

His blood poured out as he rested,still breathing but,only for about an hour can he survive this. His heavy body needs blood,in order to move,and so does his brain. He won't wake up until his wounds are patched but,his big build will be hard to carry or move him to any safe zone.

[Stormsong]

"Oh God!" Serena rushed forward and leaned down beside Diablo. "That demon got really good," she turned to Shadow. "Go run back to the village and find my brother and the shaman."

"I'm not leaving Diablo!" she exclaimed.

"He'll die if you don't go and get help! You are faster than me! I'll stay here and guard him," Serena snapped and plaed her hand on Diablo's shoulder.

Shadow nuzzled her friend. "I'll be back," she whispered into his ear before turning and half running and half flying back to the village.

Diablo whined out loud,the pain hurting him as Serena touched his shoulder,where a large claw mark was. He was still fainted but,that doesn't mean he can't feel pain,crying in his sleep.

[Stormsong]

Serena pulled her hand away, Daiblo's blood covered it. "Sorry," she muttered. 'Hurry up Shadow,' she thought as she gazed off into the forest where the pegasus had disappeared.
