Kris shook his head when she pulled out the money and he pulled out his leather wallet. He pulled out enough to cover the bill and set it on the table. He added an extra 20 for tip. Kris stood up and offered his hand to Amy.

Amy watched him with surprise. Standing she walked from th booth. Seeing it extended she took his hand and shook it.

Kris chuckled slightly, having expected her to use his hand as she stood instead of standing and then shaking it. He opened the door for her an their way out.

Amy smiled, "Thanks" and walked out before realizing why he actually put out his hand and felt stupid but ignored that. She headed for his car then waited for him.

Kris stepped out into the parking lot, and a warm breeze lifted the edge of his blue plaid shirt. He walked over the cooling pavement and stepped inside his sleek mustang.

Once he got close Amy got into his awesome car before she realized how pooped she was and a yawn forced it's way from her mouth.

Kris listened to her yawn as he pushed the key into the ignition. He turned the key and his engine roared to life. It ended in a slight purr and he backed out of the driveway. He drove towards the lab and parked in the driveway. There were a few other cars, but he assumed one of them was hers. "See you tomorrow?" He asked her.

Nodding she smiled at him, "Good night." And got out. She walked to a simple, normal, collage girl cheep truck and got in. She drove to her apartment and went inside and instantly plopped down on her bed and fell asleep.

Kris nodded softly at her words "Night". He leaned back and let out a long sight before he got out of his car and entered the cooled building. He offered a wave to the lady at the front desk before he moved to the east wing. His office was there, and he rarely slept at home. He plopped onto his bed and fell asleep immediately after her undressed.

Groaning Amy got up at 6 am and stumbled to her bathroom. Opening the door she went in and closed it behind her and got undress. She slipped into the shower with glace doors and turned it on. She washed her hair twice then condiconted it before cleaning her body and getting out. She walked to her room and put some good looking clean work clothes then left for work. By the time she got there it was 6:35. She got out of her car and rushed inside and had brefast in the snack room then looked to the clock, 6:40. Ah I can be ten minutes early. She thought then headed for the science lab. Quietly she opened and closed the door and got to work, forgetting about the creature.

Kris woke early and managed a ten minute shower. He stepped out of the steamed room and dressed in casual jeans and a long sleeve shirt. He wasn't planning on any meetings, so he didn't care what he wore. Running a hand through his still wet hair, Kris shrugged his white lab coat on and left for the lab room. When he walked inside it was around 6:20. He walked directly to the incubator and glanced inside. The breath that was supposed to exhale caught in Kris's throat and he narrowed his eyes. He shook his head and jumped when the door opened. He forced his breath to return to normal and he motioned for Amy to come over. His eyebrows raised when he looked back. He was surprised to see the the creature was turning into an embryo at such a rapid rate. "We need to put it in the simulator" He said, referring to the womb simulator. It mocked the conditions inside a mammalian mother's womb.

Amy saw him and jumped to her feet and raced over to look. She smiled and nodded, she put on gloves before handling it carefully and putting it in the simulator then took off the gloves and cleaned her hands before getting back to typing up an important essay she almost had done.

Kris watched in approval as she handled the beginnings of the embryo. He held his breath as she slipped it into the simulator, but she barely even disturbed it as she set it down. "Very nice... Couldn't have done it better myself" He said with smile, and he brushed his hair aside. He was going to sit down and play a game of minesweeper when he heard her rapid typing. Kris stepped over to her, his rubber soled shoes squeaking slightly. He leaned over the desk and glanced at the document. "College?" He asked her, his voice deep but soft.

Amy smiled, "Thanks." The countied typing, hearing his voice but closer she nodded, "Yea, and if you don't mind I have a papper they want our mentor to fill out, it's simply, just needs a few questions, how I'm doing, and stuff like that." She said not even looking at him as she typed.

Kris nodded at her suggestion. "I won't mind. You're really good, you know. You could make quite the difference in the science realm" He said, and leaned back on his heels.

Amy smiled, "Thanks, let me go get it." She said and stood going to her bookbag and pulled it out. She handed it to him, it was more then one paper but the others where more writing room. She smiled,handing it to him then typing up a few lass words. She started to read over her stuff and correct the misspells and mess ups.

Kris grasped the paper in his hand and offered a nod to the girl. He turned around and sat down at the desk that was behind her. He pulled out his pen, and the click of it opening resonated in the now silent room. He started to fill out the form, his writing quick and messy. He never cared much for details when it came to such things as handwriting. The details were in his studies and such.

Amy was quickly finished and timidly hit send and waited, hoping forthe best. She stood and walked to the simulator abd just for practice pulled out a journal and wrote-
Day one of embryol in simulator-
Nothing much yet, of course.

She put the words down then sighed and took a seat at her desk after putting the journal down next to her, she pulled up a suchhunting game and put earphones on, to not destrub Kris by the music and such.

Kris listened to her footfalls as she stepped around the room, but he focused on the questionnaire before him.

Amy got caught up in the game and soon scowled, she was on multiplayer. She typed with furry, 'Oh no you didn't, I shot that dear, I deserve to win this round.' She said and quickly others took her side, people hated it when some one did that, ecspsacily to a girl.

Kris soon finished the paper and placed the pen into his pocket after. Glancing up, he smirked at Amy. He stepped silently over to her and slid her headphones off her ears. The music sounded quietly from them. He chuckled and offered the paper to her "Finished" He said.

Amy felt the earphones move and turned to look at him, "Thanks, so um quick question, do you like hunting gamrs?" She said, "Cause I so challenge you." She said smiling in a slightly cocky way.

Kris's eyebrows raised at her question. "I've never been hunting.. And I'm not one for technology outside of the lab" He said with a chuckle. He probably sounded like an old grandpa at the moment.

Amy frowned, "You could still try. Come on it's fun...till I whoop your butt." She joked, talking competitive, "Ah seriously take the challenge." She said then turned back to the game for a moment and moved to a spot the crouched, waiting for a deer. She looked back to him.

Kris laughed at her offer and shook his head. "Sorry, I'm not good with things like that" He said, and glanced through the small window in the incubator. Seeing that little had changed, he turned back to Amy. An apologetic smile playing on his thin lips. "Maybe later" He said with a chuckle.
