Snowflake and Pheonix's Foal

I yelled "Pheonix! Please come here!"

*breathless* "I'm here. I made it!"

"Pheonix, here he is!" I nodded towards the foal. "What should we name him Pheonix?" I asked

"How 'bout Pheonix's Sword?" i suggested

"Hmm... I don't know. I think he should have a name all his own. Like Night Thunder"

I smile. "Thank you, baby." I turn and lick Justice.

im going to go patrol around a little, make sure everything ok babe? *canters off*

I nod and fall asleep with Justice

I come back at dawn the next morning. "Snowflake? Justice? wake up..." *gentle nudges them*

Snowflake: "Huh?" I say and stand up. "Oh hi honey. What did you find?" I asked
Justice: I hid behind my mommies legs. "Mommy? Who is he?" I asked her

I smile proudly at my colt. "i didn't find anything dangerous, but i did find a little creek that we should take him to.

Snowflake: "Great!" I trot off
Justice: I follow my mom

I smile at my son and lead the way to a warm, clear, shallow, creek. The water only reahced the top of my hoof

Justice: "Your my daddy? Cool!" I said happily, splashing in the creek
Snowflake: I nuzzle him. "Honey, it's beautiful!" I tell him, sighing

I nuzzle back and smile. "I was thinking of you when I saw it." Worry washed over my face for a brief second. "Son, be careful on those slick rocks." I say. Then I smile proudly, turning back to Snowflake. "I suppose we'll need to find a permanent home soon." *sigh*

Justice: "Yes dad."
Snowflake: "Yes, I suppose your right."

that means ill have to be out scouting a lot. I'll start late tonight, so i can spend the day with you two

Justice: "But dad!" I yelled
Snowflake: "Justice!" I warned

"No no, Snow. He's ok. "What is it son?" I asked bring me head down, level with his.

Justice: "Dad, I'll miss you!" I wailed, putting my face in his neck
Snowflake: "Ok." I say sheepishly

i nuzzle his ears. and comfort snow. "It won't be long, ill just scout at night. this place is bomb proof, youll b safe so dont worry" i comfort

Snow: I nuzzle him. "Just be safe baby, ok?" I asked Pheonix
