Marisa ran to the nearest Walmart, seeming more like a rich girl with her bleach blonde hair, curly hair, and not to mention the heavy make-up. Marisa was ready to go out for a night with her friends when a surprise trip to Walmart for milk and a few other groceries popped up before she had to leave. Her mother always needed things done around the house. All though, Marisa never held it against her. She knew her mom couldn't do much around the house with her fractured knee. All her mom could really do was hobble around and hope for a day when she'd have enough money to get it fixed.

Marisa slid across the Walmart floor as she ran through the automatic doors. Marisa grabbed a basket and quickly went to get all the things required at home. Marisa came to a line and got in the shortest one. Marisa felt a tapping on her shoulder and saw one of her friends.
"Oh hey Maddi! Why don't you come home with me so we can get everyone else ASAP." Marisa said.
"Yeah sure. But first let me go get a few more needed things...actually...I'll need to drop these off at home so, maybe I can go to your house after I drop everything off." Maddi said.
"Uh...yeah, sure." Marisa said. Marisa began to turn around and began to walk into the line during mid-turn. Marisa saw where she was going but it was too late to stop. She bumped into the man in front of her. Marisa quickly said "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to bump in to you!" Marisa put a hand on the man's shoulder and one on his other arm, apologizing still.

Jackson

His right foot tapped impatiently as he waited behind an old lady who oh so slow. Finally, it was his turn. He lined his groceries, and paid for them. While he was walking out the door with the bags in his hands, he felt a shove. 'What the-?" He turned to see a beautiful girl apologizing and looking like she's about to cry. "No, no. Don't worry. I'm fine, but what about you? I admit, I'm kind of a brick wall," joked Jackson. He picked a loose can of peas rolling on floor, sliding it back into his bag. Putting the bags on his left arm, he held out his right hand for her to shake. "I could use some cheesy pick-up line right now, but I'll save you from it. I'm Jackson," he said.

Marisa laughed and said "I'm Marisa." Marisa shook the man's hand and said "It looks like the other line is shorter. I'm gonna head on over there." Marisa had a slight crush but it wasn't anything that lasted long. Marisa looked back and waved at the man as she left the store ,after checking out.

Marisa headed home, dropping off the groceries. Marisa left her house and went to her girls night out.

Marisa went home, at midnight, and flopped down on her bed. She fell asleep.

The next day Marisa straightened her hair and didn't put any makeup on. She went to the park and went for a walk with a few friends and was walking backwards. Marisa turned around and slammed into a man.
"Oh dear. I really am a clutz! This is like a case of Deja Vu.... This same thing happened last night at the Walmart..." Marisa came around to see who the man was and she was amazed...

Jackson

Jackson cursed at himself silently for not getting her number. Anyway, he walked out side, put the groceries in his car, and drove home. A huge, four story mansion at the edge of town. Just he and his dog lived here. I know think it's absurd, but the house is a family heirloom. It had been passed down from generation to generation, and finally onto Jackson. So, Jackson went up stairs, to the second floor, where the master bedroom was, and went to bed.

The next morning, Jackson decided to go for a run int he park, while turning a corner, eh felt someone slam into his. He heard the person's words of it happening to them in Wal-Mart yesterday. He laughed, "Me too." Then, he was sure. it was Marissa from yesterday. "Marissa, right?" asked Jackson.

[Guest]

Izabella called Marissa but the phone didn't answer so she left a voice mail for her, "Hey Marissa how are you? It's me Iz. I can't wait to come back home this trip to Australia sucks without you so I might come home sooner then planned. But there is one super goo thing, I met a guy! He's super hot! But I'm to nervous to say hi and give him my name and number. Well bye bff hope we can yalk later." With that she hanged up and coutied on with her vacation.

"Hey Marissa!" Conner shouted walking up to her, "Me Duge, Anna, and Dominic are heading to the bar. Want to join is?" Conner had been friends with Marrisa since senior year in high school. He then
Noticed Jackson, "Oh hey I'm Conner, your welcome to come to if you like." He said extending his hanf to him with a smile.

Marisa smiled and said "Yeah." Marisa looked at Jackson and said "Jackson...right?" Marisa heard her name being called and she said "Hey Connor. I'm gonna pass on going to the bar...I don't drink. But tell my friends I said 'hi'." Marisa patted Connor on the back and began to walk around the trail to the woods.

Jackson shook his head at the guy's offer. "No thank you, I prefer not to drink." He then looked at Marissa, "Yeah, its Jackson."

Marisa waved to Connor and then walked through the woods. Marisa smiled and said "I normally wear my make up but today I just felt like I would be shunned by it when I go to the park...you know what I mean, right? ...you probably don't because...well...you're a guy." Marisa began to run and then stopped. "Catch me if you can!" Marisa yelled. Marisa ran away and climbed up a tree, sliding onto a branch. Marisa heard a slight cracking... "oh crap..." Marisa swiftly started backing up off of the branch. Marisa was too late. Marisa screamed as the branch snapped. Marisa fell to the ground and stayed on the ground. She was deep in the woods and was falling unconscious.

Jackson was a little taken back by the young woman's reactions, but jogged after her. He followed a good ways behind, but could still see her blonde hair. He watched as she made her way up a tree, but fell. Jackson dashed up to her, seeing she was unconscious. He scooped her up in his arms and dashed her back into the park. Jackson ran to his Lincoln, setting her down in the backseat while he jumped into the driver's seat, cranking the car. Driving furiously to the hospital, Jackson glanced back at Marissa. She didn't look deathly hurt, but he would take any chances. Once he was at the hospital, he dashed the young woman inside the emergency room. They took her in immediatly, seeing she was passed out. They treated her, but escorted Jackson out. Thankfully, Jackson had gotten a hold of Marissa's cell phone. He dialed up 'Mom's' in her contacts, and told her Marissa had had an accident and they were at the hospital.

Marisa woke up and saw that she was in the hospital. She looked around and said "What happened?" Marisa sat up and rested on her wrist but then screamed in agony as it sent a searing pain up her arm. The nurse ran over and said "You broke your arm when you fell out of the tree." Marisa gasped but then smiled as they gave her a choice of colors for her cast. They also said that since she hadn't ever broken a bone, they would give her a choice of striped cast between any two colors. Marisa came out of the room with a gray/silver and green cast. Marisa walked up to Jackson and said "Go Slytherin! Sorry...I'm a big fan of Harry Potter." Marisa smiled and saw her mom. She walked up to her mom and said "I'm fine...now."

Jackson laughed, then walked up to the nurse's counter. He pulled out his wallet. "What's the bill?" he asked. The nurse handed him it. It wasn't too much, $234. He paid then walked back to Marissa and her mother, "The bill is taken care of."

Marisa's jaw dropped when she saw Jackson pay the bill as if it were only a dollar. Marisa walked up to him and said "Woah...that's a whole lot a dough you got! How do you have that much!" Marisa walked back to her mom and said "We should probably be getting home." Marisa looked at Jackson, "See ya round, Jackson!" Marisa said.

Marisa went home and sat down on the couch, watching TV for the rest of the day.

~The Next Day~
Marisa went to the hospital where the nurses said that she hadn't' fractured it too bad so Marisa didn't need the cast for an entire year...about another week and they'd change it to a brace instead of a cast. Marisa smiled and then went to the park again. This time with her heavy makeup on. She didn't care what the park people thought. She wanted to ask Conner out...and she wanted to be sure that he would say yes. Marisa walked around the park, searching frantically for Conner.
